""Good afternoon, Kirsty speaking""
29 October 2002 @ 6:30 p.m.
You may have noticed that down there somewhere it says "Comments" You can leave me a comment about my diary. Now because it all gets complicated I'm only having one commenting page for my whole diary, if you catch my drift. Anyway, work was a laugh again. Sam was early today and when Jo came in (I'm thinking to get her back for the whole slapping thing yesterday) and went: "BLOODY HELL SAM! You're early... for a change!" and I just sat there and went: "Ooooooooooooooo!" Sam sat there and looked at her with an evil glare. I got my extension number (It's going to be weird writing my initials and extension number instead of using Sam's like I have been!) so Sam had me on the phones straight away. Firstly I had to call an engineer for some meter details and it turns out it wasn't for the details at all, then once that was sorted out, my phone started ringing so I answered and it was someone talking about something I had no idea about, so it wasn't a good start. But it went alright after a while because then the calls were for meter details which is what I do :) Kelvin and Nick who were in our starter group spent the whole of lunch time sat down listening to me and Sarah chatting about anything and everything, haha! I was chatting about the Halloween film when Kelvin went: "I went to see a movie...*long pause* Umm, I can't remember what..." Kelvin's cool. Then a few hours later we all went on our 10 minute break and out of the blue Kelvin went: "My big fat greek Wedding... That's what I saw!" We all started laughing, seeing as we went for our lunch about 12:30 and our 10 min break at 3:15 :) It's cool going for my 10 min break then, but even cooler like yesterday. I went out for my last break at 3:40... and I finish at 4! So I had 10 minutes to input one thing and clear up, logging off and such. In the morning, Sam says she's gonna log onto a computer for me cos I'm in at 8:30 (Wednesdays are my "half hour later" days) and I might not get a computer. We're SUPPOSED to hotdesk, but no one really does. Most people have their set desks with all their stuff on. Jo has "Princess Jo" signs by her computer (and matching pink colour scheme on her computer which I helped with cos she didn't know how to do it) Sam has all of her folders by her desk and Tina has her drawers with her stuff in by her computer. There's not enough computers for everyone, so we don't know how we're all going to cope!
