"Thunderbirds are GO!"
16 August 2002 @ 11:12 a.m.
I had an absolute roasting yesterday on the Jeep Safari. It was so amazing, I saw the longest volcanic tunnel, and I know lots of facts about it all too. The Inter Aventura staff were incredible, having a good laugh. One of them said to me "Make sure you put plenty of suncream on, or youīll end up the colour of the Jeep!" Now the jeeps we were in were bright red! He wasnīt far off. My poor right arm yesterday was radiating so much heat, I could have fried an egg on it! Megan stuck a bottle of water on it to cool it down. Itīs not sore at all, in fact the redness has died down, itīs not that hot and itīs slowly turning a nice shade of brown. I donīt like getting in the sun all that much, so Iīm staying out of it today. I went up Teidi (the volcano) 8 years ago, and they said it would erupt in the next 30 years. When we went there yesterday, they said in the next 30 months! I canīt believe the dolphins interaction is almost upon me. At 2:30pm GMT tomorrow (Same time here as it is in England) think of me. I shall be training the dolphins for the show, learning more about them and getting to swim with them. We went to the water park on Wednesday to at least fit some rides in. When I went to see the show at 1pm, I really was trying to hold back the tears because this is a dream come true! And No one would go on the kamakazi slide with me, except my dad. He ended up hitting a wall and I ended up getting my butt battered near the end. Weīre both OK though, and it rocked! I was very careful on the one ride: The Rio. I lifted my butt up out the water, because 8 years ago I ended up bruising it! They had to practically kick me out of Garfields last night, haha, only kidding. Like I said, Iīm friends with all of them there, and we were all sat chatting and no customers were left. Ashley had me in giggles doing his "Duh-Vuh-Duh" thing, John - who I havenīt seen in 3 years was there and still canīt get over how much Iīve grown and still insists on waving his arms about saying "You were THIS big!" Jackie bought me a drink and asked me to sing Shakira "Whenever, Wherever", John Jr was trying to get Ashīs attention cos I think they were off to Shooters a bit later on. Me and Meg went to Shooters the other night and ASh walked right up to us, ordered a drink from the waitress and then went to the DJ box. The next night while he was doing compere work, he went: "Didnīt I see you last night in Shooters?" Man Ash! That must have been SOME night if you werenīt sure if you seen us or not! Hahaha! itīs a bit quiet in here. One bloke came in, checked his e-mails and left. Iīve been here for 35 minutes. Little bored because Meganīs still sleeping. Parentīs have gone out. my dadīs on a mission to buy a camcorder for the Interaction. "This thingīs turning out to be expensive! 97 quid each, new camcorder, new camera...!" lmao! I want him to film Ashley and Roger singing "Dance The Night Away" their version rocks so hard! I start clapping and jumping about in my seat and cheering when they do it. And as for Ashīs Thunderbirds thing. I still laugh my butt off when he does it, itīs just now I join in. Well I have 15 minutes to go, Iīm going to browse some more sites and finish talking to Craig about my white bits ;)
